We are seeking a dependable Ranch Mechanic (or Mechanic Assistant) to join our operations team. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who thrives in a remote, self-reliant environment and takes pride in keeping equipment and vehicles in top condition. Key Responsibilities: Assists fleet manager with the routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles, including: Pickup trucks, ATVs, generators, pumps, and small engines Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on a wide range of ranch equipment, including: Trucks, trailers, ATVs, tractors, generators, pumps, and small engines Help diagnose mechanical issues and carry out repairs efficiently and safely Track maintenance schedules, order parts, and maintain accurate records Support field operations with mobile repairs when needed Ensure equipment is safe, operational, and well-maintained Assist with occasional ranch utility projects (e.g., water systems, fencing, infrastructure repairs) We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Reliable transportation Proven experience as a mechanic (automotive, diesel, or ag equipment preferred) Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather and terrain Must have a valid driver's license; CDL a plus Welding and fabrication skills are a bonus Must be able to lift and carry 50+ pounds
