Our client, a regional fabricator of natural stone, has an immediate need for an experienced Estimator, to join their winning team in Westbury. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS: Read and interpret blueprints and specification sheets to develop accurate and detailed cost estimates. Prepare digital take-offs and conduct a detailed count of stone slabs as shown on the drawings. Review due date feasibility and/or discuss a date of completion with the client. Review bid documents and prepare appropriate qualifications Evaluate accuracy of vendor quotes Develop product knowledge and ability to compare similar products from different suppliers Report weekly on bids in progress Organize project files Present closed projects to the project management team and transition all relevant paperwork and information to the project manager WE OFFER: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Please apply today to be immediately considered for the role!
