Position Summary: The Sherrington Group is seeking a highly personable and knowledgeable Certified Financial Planner (CFP) to serve as a relationship manager for our financial planning and wealth management clients. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth discovery meetings to understand client goals, life stages, risk tolerance, and long-term planning needs Develop and present comprehensive financial plans including retirement, investments, tax strategies, insurance, estate planning, and cash flow management Monitor changes in clients’ financial situations, market conditions, and regulatory updates to provide timely and relevant advice Build and foster client trust, retention, and satisfaction with a proactive, consultative approach Assist in onboarding new clients, including gathering financial data, setting expectations, and ensuring a smooth transition Qualifications: CFP® certification required Bachelor degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, or related field 7 years of experience in financial planning, preferably in a RIA or wealth management firm xsgimln Strong understanding of personal finance topics including investments, retirement strategies, and estate planning Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal Ability to explain complex financial concepts in clear, relatable terms What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package A supportive, team-oriented environment focused on client success and professional growth
