In our 1:1 ABA setting, you will work hands-on with children (ages 18 months to 8 years) using ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a supportive, center-based environment. With top-notch supervision, ongoing training, and a passionate team alongside you, you will make a real difference each day! What You'll Do as a Behavior Therapist Implement one-on-one ABA therapy to assist children with Autism in reaching their full potential by reading treatment plans, collecting data, writing insurance notes, and applying feedback from your supervisor during observation sessions. Encourage children’s development in early childhood (ages 18 months to 8 years) through engaging and fun therapeutic activities. Collaborate with a team to enhance treatment, ensure safety, and cultivate a fun work environment. Engage with children through play, movement, and interaction. Depending on the child, this may involve running, dancing, singing, or reading books and playing games. Energetically participating in play and fostering a joyful atmosphere is key! Communicate effectively and positively with all stakeholders (peers, families, supervisors) to coordinate activities, celebrate achievements, and address individual needs. Job Requirements Physically engage with children in a fast-paced environment, including the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, squat, and quickly move around the space. Maintain an uplifting environment conducive to therapy by keeping play spaces tidy and organized. Multitask to manage various tasks and conversations while ensuring safety for all involved. Work cohesively with team members across the center and region, which may require travel to nearby centers. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment, including passing a 40-hour training curriculum and a hands-on competency assessment, followed by registering for and passing the board exam. Pay Ranges Based on Experience & Education: o Associates/High School: $15.50 - $23.50 o Bachelors: $16.50 - $25.50 o Masters: $17.50 - $27.00 Entry-level candidates will earn their first raise upon certification as RBT, typically within 21 days. Experience in these fields is a plus!
